Functions of the Department
Developing, updating, and maintaining the Human Resource for Health database.
Planning and initiation of ICT training and procurement of ICT equipment and infrastructure for the Ministry of Health.
Undertaking preparation and periodic reviews of annual, medium, and long-term health sector plans.
Initiating the review/development of health policies and laws.
Coordinating the activities of all donors and partners in the health sector.
Undertaking health data collection, collation, analysis, and dissemination.
Developing M&E work plans, sector scorecards and key performance indicators (KPI) for the health sector.
